Hot Air Mug

Walt Disney World Thermo-serv mug
Thermo-serv made a variety of mugs for WDW in the early years.  Based on the art work, coloring and more modern design, I am guessing this 6 1/2" tall mug comes from the late 80's or early 90's.  I like the 'hot air' balloon design on the insulated mug.  (science geeks insert smug laugh here)

Grumpy: Skeptical, Pessimistic & Refreshing?

Sprite can
Grumpy, 1986
If it is as hot where you are as it is here, you may be a bit Grumpy.  But hopefully this can of Sprite from 1986 will be a refreshing break from the heat.  This can was part of a Coca-cola series that celebrated Walt Disney World's 15th Anniversary.  A variety of Coke products highlighted an assortment of Disney characters on the back of the can and featured the Walt Disney World 15 Years logo and the Big D/Globe Head.

Backwards or Forwards in Time

Walt Disney World Promotional Postcard
1977
Your pal, Mickey has sent you a postcard from the future (the 21st Century) or maybe 1977.  Either way, "you can go backwards or forwards in time" at WDW!  This 7x5 promotional postcard highlights the Contemporary Resort and the new River Country with "old-fashioned swimmin' hole."

Look Out Donald

Walt Disney World Florida Tray
Mickey & friends take a day at the Florida beach on this 10 3/4" black metal tray from Walt Disney World.  The original castle logo marks the spot for the Vacation Kingdom along with many other popular tourist spots of the 1970's.  Don't get too close to the water, Donald.  Looks like you already lost one of your nephews.
